The Sedalia area is served by a local grange called Sunflower Grange 162. A new website should be coming soon.
The local grange was organized December 8, 1907 with 81 members. The groups was quite active for about 50 years planning community events. At one time there was a Grange Hall, but it was washed away in the 1965 flood.
The current president is Cherry Ellis.
In 2025, the Sunflower Grange 162 received a Rural Life Initiative grant from the national grange. The event was held in September 2025.
